Starburst 45 produces durable restorations with a lasting lustre. A high copper alloy of the high copper single composition type, Starburst 45 consists of micro-fine lathe cut particles and is free from the corrosion prone and weak gamma-2 phase. 

With handling characteristics comparable to traditional amalgams, sufficient condensation pressure should be applied when placing.
